Poster for Stefan Sagmeister’s lecture Why Beauty Matters, in which he affirms: “In reality, beauty is not a question of simple versus complex; it’s a matter of if something has been done with care or without thought”.
I wondered how this message would resonate in a country where carelessness seems to be the norm in many aspects. I decided to reference his project “Banana Wall” with the chaotic twist of green plantains with paintbrush strokes, just the way they’re sold everyday at our local supermarkets.
